This year is for me the Year of the Word. A new chapbook of poems, The Poet's Pen, was published by Scienter Press; the book on spirituality, Vessel of Peace: A guide for Pilgrims of the Spirit, which I co-authored with Doug Shadel, has been republished by Abingdon Press; and I am in the process of editing a book on Religious Life entitled Apart and Together which will be published by Church Publishing, Inc.
I am also currently working on a third full-length play. Besides the written word, I am also involved with the spoken word in Retreats, Quiet Days and consultation. I also listen to other people's words in spiritual conversation and spiritual direction. I've always felt the word as my way to understand and express the good news of life and love.
Recently, by God's grace, this call continues to bear new fruit.
