On this page you see several shots of our Monster-Beings that came from Arm of the Sea. It took real team effort to get them up and posed for the play! Each monster had its own facial expression and character and each produced its own “offspring” – one group, The Reds, dominated the others. They chased the others away from the table and would not eat with them. Their motto was: You’re Red ‘til you’re dead. At their table their leader oppressed the others and would not allow any of them to explore or learn from the other tribes. When conflict erupted into violence at the Red table, the Red tribe dissolved in a loss of trust and members.

Peace showed its superior way when other colored-tribes invited the Reds to their table where all the best foods of the world could be had just for the asking. Our play ended with drumming, and dancing and feasting and the Reds go and bring their table to join with the Peace table, making one table for all.

If you look closely, you will see the wonderful details on our puppets figures. No longer Charlie Brown cut-outs, they show remarkable artistry and a fusion of paint and photography. The pictures of cast members became faces on the puppets. The portraits were shot by Leslie Smith of Chester, New York. All the pictures you see here were her contribution to the NPP.
