Welcome to The Order of Saint Helena

The Order of St. Helena is a religious order in the Episcopal Church for lay and ordained women. We witness to a contemporary interpretation of traditional monasticism, open to the leading of the Holy Spirit as we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since our founding in 1945, our experience of the religious life has included prayer, the individual, the Church at large, and social action.

Architects hired for design
of new convent

We are delighted to announce that we have hired the Augusta firm of Cheatham Fletcher Scott Architects to work with us in designing our new convent.

In 2011, OSH purchased approximately 28 acres of land in North Augusta SC, which will be the site of the new convent. This property is less than 20 miles from our current convent location in Augusta.
